美国近几年失业率年度?
最近的一次,2016年2月的失业率是5.0% 之前的两次,分别是5.8%和7.2% 之前还有一次14.7%的高点。 这几次都是Obama当总统的时候。
Lots of people talking about how unemployment is low in the USA… But not a lot of them are mentioning that most unemployed Americans aren’t really looking for work because they’re stuck in long-term unemployment. And when you look at the data, it looks like this: Source:BLS So what percentage of working age Americans are not participating in the labor force and therefore are categorized as “unemployed” by mainstream economists? 9.8 million out of 166 million American citizens。 Which means there are millions of people who would love to have a job but can’t find one right now.
The number has been rising slowly over time, from 7.9 million in 2009 to 9.8 million today. It’s also interesting to note that even though we’ve had jobs expanding every month since Obama took office, there has still been no significant reduction in the percent of Americans labeled “unemployed”。 In fact, if anything, it seems to be getting worse。 I guess all those “trickle down” jobs just weren’t enough to keep up with demand.
I think everyone can agree that “3.8%” doesn’t mean much until you break it down into categories that relate to actual human beings. Then it becomes a lot less abstract.
